Three artists join together for an exploration and reflection on the times of apathy and inertia they have recently experienced. They cross their desire to create which, despite the difficulties, seeks a break from the restrictions imposed. The piece is born from the desire to express three distinct experiences in a new paradigm that calls for artistic regeneration, creative expression and social sharing. The performance is a map of present and future pasts that question time, space and all the emotions that are carried in them.

Originally a site-specific performance for gallery space later adapted for film, “The Grid” explores the role of women in domestic architecture in two activation phases.
The first part refers to the child’s perception of space, the sense of exploration, curiosity, and freedom, that comes from these familiar grid-like settings. The second activation explores the role of the adult woman, looking closer at the ideas and expectations placed upon herself and the weight associated with that. It delves into the internal observation and acceptance of the inhabited form, resulting in the creation of her own personal grid.
